You must be ignorant if you think rail wasn’t passing through New Orleans prior to the electric street cars. rail dates back the 1830’s in the area. And those also must have been the damn best horses and mules to ever walk a straight line. Hell one float they don’t even have guides on the sides. Just one guy on the float holding on to the reigns in case he needed to break em.
Look close at the road. You can see the rail you smartass/dumbass

The floats were decorated pretty nicely. I wonder what stuff like that giant pineapple were made of?

There's no sound. There's also no quality footage of the other three old line krewes from this era because they paraded at night and there was no flash technology for moving pictures. Rex was always a day parade.
