Trust me, i'd rather believe it was her own foot than a potential murder suspect's.
It just doesn't look like her own foot. She's wearing slip-on sandals. If it was her own foot, as she turns around to leave you would see her exposed skin on the back of her foot. You don't

I think that's pretty clearly her sandal.
Go put on flip flops, put your foot down then start waking forward, before your shoe comes off the ground, your foot arches up and if all I saw was the back of the shoe it'd look like that.
The more terrifying thought is that what science tries to explain as bipolar induced psychosis off her meds is in fact demonic possession. And she is fighting a battle for her soul in that elevator.

Correct. I'm assuming you haven't seen much security footage if you expect it to play as if it was recorded on a cell phone. I see nothing which makes me believe it a playing any slower than the system produces it.

Exactly, like a person who was bipolar, depressed, and supposed to be on wellbutrin, lamkictal, seroquel, and effexor and was seeing things which didn't exist.

the weird as frick hand movement she makes is pretty alarming/creepy.
plus that hotel has a shady and troubling history
and why was no one around to help her, and why did the elevator door stay open so long... (probably due to a button being pressed)
I was pretty fascinated by this story , hence why I linked that explanation. Id love to believe it was murder/demonic possession/conspiracy/spooky ghosts/coverup/government controlled TB outbreak etc.
but I think it was just a tragedy involving a lone woman with mental health issues who was hallucinating

Sadly, this kind of nonsense is the reason we see people going without mental health treatment. Case in point, "Emily Rose," which was based upon Anneliese Michel, who was starved and dehydrated to death as her parents and priests by battled a mythical demon.

This is one of the creepiest stories of the last decade or so. It was probably just her being a maniac/mental basketcase, but damn the footage in that hallway and elevator is eery as hell.

Maybe in some extreme cases, but the shutdown of mental health facilities and the general lack of care or understanding about mental health issues in this country has nothing to do with that.
