We're doing it.

It is a simple deal, with just family and friends at our home. A lot has changed in our lives in 25 years, but our love has maintained.

We are close to our family and this is just a way to demonstrate that love.

There's more to it, but that's the gist of it.

Thanks, Nurse.

We've built a business, raised a child, buried parents, and built homes together. She is stil my best friend and tolerates my flaws. I feel pretty fortunate.

My parents did it for their 25th anniversary. They got married at 17 and 18, dad did 22 years active duty, mom basically raised 2 children by herself while my dad was constantly overseas defending our freedoms. They've had their moments but they're the strongest people I know. There's nothing lame or stupid about renewing vows. They're not attention seeking, they did it in front of a group of less than 10 family members in a BR Catholic church, they did it for themselves. I think it's an amazing show of affection that after 25 years two people who have been through so much still love each other when most quit after a few years.

And congrats Vette!
