I did the 3M kit from Autozone using the sandpaper on a drill connection. Everything seemed to be going like described in the directions then I sealed it. Looked great. A few months later, they were cloudy. I just replaced both assemblies. I’m not a proponent of the restoration kits.

Vehicles now have polycarbonate headlights. These headlights come with a clear coat on the headlight and after time UV Rays break down that clear coat and that is what causes the oxidation/film on the headlight.
