Yes, because people are not in prison for simply using drugs. They're in there for dealing and for other drug-related crimes (theft, assault, murder, etc.). Nobody is in prison for simple possession or using drugs.

I'm calling bullshite on nobody being in jail for simply smoking pot. Also, plenty of people are in jail for selling weed which they wouldn't be if it were legal. But hey, listen to Sessions, "good people don't smoke pot".

Who needs facts, when you get opinions like this?
Overall, 40,000 federal and state inmates nationwide have Marijuana related convictions; about half are for marijuana related offenses alone; of those 20,000, the over-over-overwhelming majority are for distribution related offenses. Somewhere under *1%* of those 20,000 - so, generously, 200 people, are in for personal possession alone, regardless of prior criminal record or prior conviction that may have terms of parole that include no possession of any kind.

Why is it these idiots never realize that it doesn't target more "people of color"? It's just more prevalent in their culture.
Whenever I hear someone say that, I realize how stupid they are. They just look at numbers instead of facts. How about they do some investigations and see where most drugs come from. I'm not saying other races don't supply/do them, because I'm not that naive. It's just not as prevalent with other races.
