The only recent bank robbery I recall that seemed to actually get more than a couple hundred dollars and they got away was in New Orleans.
This robbery was like something from a movie. Van pulls up at bank on Carrollton. Well armed team is in and out very fast, while the van stays on Carrollton blocking traffic, IIRC. The team drives off, hops in a getaway car closer to river road, then burns the van.
I don't think they were ever caught. Does anyone else remember this?

I just gave y'all one. The Chase in Albertsons. The News even said "whole lotta cash" and they rarely discuss $$ amounts Guy was never caught despite a good look at him on camera. I hate armed robbers(been in a few).They are right under murderers and child sex predators.

I don't know. I just know it was close to home and I followed up on it a few times. My gf was across the street getting nails done when it happened and they came looking for all the shops' footage there too. Hope he get's caught. frick robbers.
