Recommend south BR electrician

Blow dryer was running on an outlet in the bathroom the other day and smelled something burning. On the other side of the bathroom in an outlet not being used, the top outlet was sort of melting. See below.



Not sure what the issue is. I never use that outlet. I flipped the breaker and just want to get someone out to look at it who is honest and knows what they're doing. TIA.

Loose connection, once it heats up you need to change it. Good luck.

Was the outlet that was in use a GFCI? it's pretty common practice to slave other outlets on Bathrooms off of one GFCI. Could be an issues there, not sure without more info.
