Reading news outlets’ articles is very hard to do, these days.

To read an article of any kind is truly frustrating to where you cannot go a full three sentences without getting a break in the paragraph for an advertisement.

Then after scrolling for far too long, you realize you thought you passed more ads but they only placed one sentence of the article spaced by two more ads.

THEN you reach what you think is the end of the article and then hit with full page ads at the bottom, realizing you missed the “Read More” tab.

Tap the “Read more” tab correctly or the ads placed behind the tab will take you to the advertised website. Hit the back button to get back to anrticle and it takes you to front page of news outlet.

I thought this was going to be about the shitty grammar by today's "journalists". WAFB articles are the absolute worst -- it feels like 8th graders write most of their articles.

I’m not even worried about grammar that much.

It’s just that you don’t really know what the article is saying due to the ads taking up 3/4 of the page and the content taking. 1/4.

Here is a ln example.

May I kindly suggest an adblocker or utilizing archive.is.

Brave browser does a pretty solid job of blocking ads on its own, too.

Do you not want to pay money to The Advocate or the NY Times to be informed? What's wrong with you?
