Wrong, politicians such as Landrieu love keeping the poor black folks like they are. They promise them stuff, toss them a few crumbs and they keep voting that democrat ticket like the brainwashed sheep that they are. How do you think these preachers and ministers are as rich as they are? The politicians know how much influence these guys wield and they treat these folks handsomely.
As long as that cycle continues, nothing will change.
