I'm thinking about springing for an adult-sized electric tricycle to cruise up the local rail-trail that I follow about 3 or 4 miles to get groceries and go to the bank and such. Well, guess what? About 90% of those bad boys are made in China.
I think riding around in a Chinese made product is the least of your problems in this situation.

That looks really nice. I don't see that exact one on the site but looking at the prices, I don't think I can afford those.
Most of us can't, and it is insane the value of Loveless knives. I will own one eventually, but it will likely just be a drop hunter that I happen upon in the wild.

Get used to it. It's going to get worse with Xiden running the show.

You can find basic drop point hunters, the most popular hunting knife in the world that Loveless actually invented/designed, much cheaper than that. I purposely posted one of his most expensive knives on the market right now just for fun. Even while the man was still alive, his knives were selling in the thousands, even though you could call him up and order a knife and get on the waiting list without paying those prices. Once he died, prices skyrocketed. When Merrick died later, they became ridiculous. I believe knives are still being made by someone at the Loveless shop, but I don't know their value.
They aren't the only collector knives on the market bringing that kind of money, but they may very well be the best.

What the frick is wrong with people and corporations? Almost any other country of origin and I'd be ok with it. It doesn't have to be made in USA, just not a shitty communist country with slave labor and internment camps.
I can't wait for the meltdowns when everything is coming from emerging African nations in a decade or so.

They have not been made since he died? Are you saying loveless like? Or honest to god loveless knives? I didn’t know who he was until you posted that sounds like a cool arse cat. RIP

I have read and heard that someone is making knives out of the Loveless shop now. Jim Merritt, Bob's longtime partner, carried on making Loveless knives after Bob's death. Merritt did so until he passed away. There is debate whether the knives being made at the shop now should be considered Loveless knives. For the record, the knives Jim made after Bob died commanded pretty much the same prices and were marked Loveless.
Here's a great documentary:

Just want to give a shoutout/thanks to this guy.
Ended up ordering the knife he pointed out. I designed a custom monogram and its getting lasered on the blade.
Everything made here in the USA.
