Good luck.

If he can buy it, he can pay his own tickets and insurance.

Right?

I'll pay for his insurance as long as he's ticket free. After that it"s all on him.

Your other post was good, too, re. the driving school.

Thanks. Driving requires situational awareness. Speed limits are designed for drivers who aren't aware of what is happening outside and in front of their own bubble. Amazingly, it seems that most drivers don't look at anything they don't intend to go to, and to hell with mirrors to look behind.

My driving test consisted of driving around the block at about 15 mph.

Sadly, this is pretty standard.

An Xbox racing game would be much better training for situational awareness.

Fo, if you have kids, I highly recommend the school in my sig.

They have a 3 day course for young/new drivers that is well worth the money.

Skid pad, track time, braking; the whole deal.

It'll probably pay for itself in the long run.

Seriously, I'd rather give a couple of hundred bucks to a company than fricking highway thieves, which is all cops are.

Plus constant practice. Bondurant is definitely a good start but post-school practice is essential.
