I chimed in on that thread a few times, but heard or saw nothing further.

Mainly, I wanted to know if Adeptus was a backer of the ER that is being built in BR? The facilities are called First Choice here, but they went public and the traded name of the IPO is Adeptus?

I recall the ER there was to be a hospital backed satellite facility? But Adeptus has done this in other states. Anyway, Adeptus stock closed today at $8.49. It peaked August of 2015 at $115.60. They began as a whole here in Houston taking Medicare and Medicaid across all facilities. This was a big change for their system. It is not looking good for these facilities.

Again, I can't recall if the BR facility had a backer other than a parent hospital.

Rebekah Gee has said they will not give any more certificates of need for more beds until after the EKL one is up and running. First Choice is about to open in Morrero and plans for Canal St and the North Shore partnered with Oschner.

EKL is with OLOL and Oschner already has one in Plaquemine

I will be very curious to see if they survive. It is a large company and many have made money, but it looks like a bubble that will burst. The stock has plummeted and they are still building locations.
