I had what sounds like a similar chip, it was on a bottom tooth in the front, right next to the bottom canine.
It was just a little sliver across the top back and can not be seen from the front.
I waited a couple of months and the dentist looked at it during a 6 month cleaning.
She said don’t worry about, no big deal.

Tooth #1 is your upper right wisdom tooth.
Just pull it yourself. No one needs wisdom teeth. I always recommend at home extractions to my patients. Especially to poor patients like you.

dentist also...this probably happened due to decay. it is most likely more extensive than your own eye can see. pain is a-comin'...get this done...ASAP.
