Pulling forward at the drive-thru?

After placing my order, i drive up to the window and pay. Without hesitation, they immediately ask me to pull forward and explain that they'll bring my order to me.
I'm no stranger to the game - me siting there without my order is tanking their service time averages, and they want me off the launching pad so the clock will stop. Out of courtesy to those behind me, I normally don't have a problem with this. However, there was nobody else in line! WTF?!
Just as I was about to pull forward, I had an epiphany. A Clark Griswold moment. I'll spare you the details of the conversation, but my closer was, "we just lost to freaking Hawaii, so if you think I'm putting up with this shite today you're crazy!"
Left with a $25 gift card and my food - which I tossed cause I know those sumbitches prolly sabotaged it.
