34 years old and i use "Thats not my responsibility" a lot

Because well its not my job. I have enough shite to do besides someone elses work

Unless you are a low end government worker, that's not going to help you out a lot with co-workers.

A better answer would be that I'm not sure I'm the one to do that, but I will help you find what you need or the person to help you with it.

I feel like "that's not my job" is valid in some situations but it's all in how you say it.

Sometimes clients have unrealistic expectations and their request or problem is outside of your or the company's spear of influence.

You will get yourself into more trouble if you try to help anyway and screw something up

shouldn't lump that in with the others. Many times a worker needs to avoid what is not in the job description to protect himself or herself. Maybe not say it that way.
