quote:No. They can talk around the irrationality and do it in seemingly academic terms, but they can't legitimately explain it, because there is no legitimate explanation. The closest you'll get is "We think the HepVax lasts for decades. It's 'low risk.' So why not get it early and get it done?"
Can anybody explain this to me?
The problem is "Low Risk" does not equate to no risk.

It is the only vaccine at birth that did catch my attention but it has been given at birth for over 30 years now, I don't think it is an issue.

Don’t get me started on this one.
My wife and I are not anti-vaxx. I can do the rough cost-benefit analysis even without full information and spending my life worrying about it etc.
But I asked numerous doctors, nurses, anyone else who’d “listen” why someone with ZERO risk factors for Hep could possibly give that to her newborn.
Blank stares. Both kids.
I asked if they thought they we were at risk simply by being at their hospital.
Nothing.
It is a lowest common denominator hospital risk avoidance. And/or just rote ignorance.

You posted the pre 1986 vaccine schedule and then the post 1986 schedule which has significantly increased the number of vaccines.”(Total through age 18 was often cited as 50-70+ doses ……….compared to roughly two dozen or fewer in the 1980’s”
The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act granted vaccine manufacturers significant immunity from civil lawsuits regarding vaccine-related injuries or deaths.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recieves major funding from Merck,Moderna,Pfizer and Sanofi(vaccine manufacturers).
To become board certified as a pediatrician one must pass an examination administered by the American Board of Pediatrics(a seperate entity).
The AAP and ABP are seperate, distinct organazations that collaborate closely to set standards, educate pediatricians and maintain board certification.
Make sense now?

The side affects aren’t worth the risk. My children are 35-41. They’re not drug addicts..never thought they’d ever been shooting up needles….
Knock yourself out if you think they have the risk… and your willing to risk potential side affects..
