Yes, I believe GMP is the volume measurement given when shopping these things.

I have the simpson, bought mine from Amazon. I love it. I use it with the el cheapo $59 surface cleaner from Home Depot.

No, I've not had to feel any warrant info, I've never had any problems with the Simpson. Which is hard to believe, because I'm horrible about maintenance on my small engines. 5 yrs with a LOT of use and I've never changed the oil.

Appreciate all who provided input. Ended up purchasing Yamaha, mostly because of "brand" recognition, features and warranty.
