There are multiple people on Facebook (I know, I'm trashy for being on Facebook) posting the list. This would be legal, correct? They can't be sued by those people whose names are there can they?

I mean, I thought that's why Chicken swiftly removed threads with that in the first place but the morei thought about it, it's public info now.

I'm sure the people posting it don't have enough money to be sued.

What is exactly is illegal about this? AM never insured the confidentiality of their information, and they didnt verify anything.

There is no legal remedy for defamation of character if the content conveyed is truthful.

Oh I agree, it's shitty of them to do. It's none of their business. I know about 5 people on the list but I'll never open my mouth about it. I'm not getting into someone else's marital business.

I'm not entirely familiar with the laws on that but I'd imagine knowing the information was obtained illegally and then disseminating it could create and issue.

Along with the fact that you know, and admitted that you know the data was obtained illegally.

Thereafter you are a conduit for helping to spread it.

If I can get a ticket for going 7 over, I'm pretty sure there are loopholes that make that illegal.

It should be illegal that if you mention a female to immediately say "no pics". Chicken will delete any pics even if you do post them so of course you can't post pics.
