How are cops wrong in this?

Don't break the law.

Can't get caught.

true, but this is entrapment at its finest and very, very lazy police work. Is popping her with those gotcha tactics going to stop the suppliers?

Definition of entrapment in Texas

quote:

(a) It is a defense to prosecution that the actor engaged in the conduct charged because he was induced to do so by a law enforcement agent using persuasion or other means likely to cause persons to commit the offense. Conduct merely affording a person an opportunity to commit an offense does not constitute entrapment.

quote:

was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

I doubt it's entrapment. They didn't persuade her to possess the drugs, they persuaded her to bring the drugs to the police station.

Either way, the lady is an idiot.

Being dumb and taking part in criminal activity typically never ends well. I also don't feel the least bit sympathy for that moron.

The cops certainly will have a funny story to tell on poker night though.

when the rave scene was at its height, there used to be a table in the lobby of the state palace theater where cops would test ecstasy and give it back to you if it was pure

Yet only 15 feet away, at the front door, was a box FULL of all different sorts of narcotics confiscated during the entry pat down. A box that would most of the time end up in the party producers possession.

I think overall it is wrong to post an Ebola warning unless it is legit. You can trap more people other ways to fill your jails.

Depends on how many names of her supplier that she turns over to have charges dropped. I think it's brilliant.

If anyone should be in trouble for entrapment it should be her parents for naming her that awful fricking name
