I really don't understand why some of you have such a hard time grasping reality. How many cases have there been like this? How many videos do we see that show incidents like this? yet a lot of you would rather play ignorant and act shocked when these incidents happen instead of thinking "well frick I have seen unarmed people be shot for not complying so maybe I should comply". Complying isn't a sign of admitting guilt or weakness it is a sign of intelligence and self preservation...yall need to quit acting like yall are going to change things because of what you perceive is right or wrong.

He should have complied but you don't have to kill the guy. Why were they not using tasers?

I do love how the guy in the copter was able to see he was a bad dude and on drugs from 250 feet in the air.

So basically your argument is "cops frick up and kill people all the time, so y'all should chill and get used to it". Am I too far off?

you would think a guy would be smart enough to do nothing to provoke cops when encountering them...I guess some people are just that stupid

I know right?

It's simple- just do everything they tell you and no one gets hurt. Don't question their directions- they will kill you if you stand up for your "rights".

I could be wrong but if the cops thought the situation called for guns the be drawn, they would secure the dude then retrieve his paperwork. If they did in fact order a person who they have guns drawn on to reach inside his vehicle, then they all deserve charges brought against him. I don't see how anyone can say if this was a good shoot or not yet. From the two videos I saw, you can't see what the guy was doing right before he is shot. Hopefully they have body cams with audio that will show a clearer picture of what took place

I understand what you say there, but the penalty for non compliance should not be death.

maybe he saw some irrational behavior that we didn't see on video?

every single story like this there is a lot of stupid going on. somewhere, someway, someone decided to keep it real. either that was the cops or the victim. or both

Of course you didn't follow the story, but you will blindly support the cops in this shooting.

no you are actually getting it. This is why I don't understand the anger with some of you. I know based on videos I have seen over the years that cops have shot unarmed people not complying....that means I will comply rather than take the chance of becoming the next video. Self preservation if you will.

Here's the thing, they were on another call. They were heading to a domestic violence situation when they came across this guy stalled in the middle of the road. Why they had their guns drawn for a broken down vehicle is a mystery

Again, how do you know he wasn't ordered to the SUV. He had his hands up and had officers all around him. If they didn't want him walking to the SUV, why didn't they attempt to grab and detain him?

Call me crazy, but the government killing its innocent citizens is a tad bit troubling to me. I know, I know, I should just eat my shite sandwich and keep my mouth shut.

Comply or Die. The police are supposed to protect and serve us. Not rule over us.

I agree in most cases. An unarmed man should never be shot, as long as he isn't endangering anyone but himself.
