Wondering if anyone can help me here...

I live in an old house that is raised with exposed pipe below it. It got pretty cold the other night so ran faucets to keep pipe from freezing. Next day the cold water pressure was fine, but the hot water pressure is nil. Turned off water completely last night to avoid any damage. Just got home and turned water back on to see if pressure has returned, and nothing. I just checked under house and don't see anything dripping or burst but there is a good bit of steam.

Is there an easy solution or am I screwed?

Did you run the hot water faucets as well?

I've had that problem before and it was the hot water heater, it died.

Plumbers aren't on the OT, they're on the Tiger Rant with all the ditch diggers.

Cut off the power or turn off the gas to the water heater until it's repaired. Also shut off the water. Not doing so will cause the house to flood with resulting explosion. Not really

I can't determine my own hotness, so I can't really answer that question. Although, I am constantly being pursued, so that must say something.
