I'd email that place in the link and ask them.
They were very prompt in replying and can give you ideas. We stayed at some really cool places while there and the most expensive one...Costa Verde in Manuel Antonio(that had an amazing view of the ocean and huge room with a kitchen in it and massive patio) was $160 a night. Your money goes far in CR.
All of the places we stayed at we saw families there though. CR doesn't have a lot of all inclusives and adults only resorts.
Costa Verde does have this badass plane room though
But it's like $500 a night

I know Cuba could be as easy as not getting a passport stamp- can kids decline too?

I know nothing about going to Cuba but I would be doing a disservice to my heritage if I didn't tell you this: "aprender a hablar español antes de ir."
Translation, "learn to speak Spanish before you go"

Thanks saint- me hablo espanol muy pequito- but I guess it may work huh???

You won't need to speak it. Like I told my friends who asked me for a quick Spanish lesson before they went to Puerto Rico, it's better to not use Spanish than to try and use it and have the locals attempt to decipher what you are trying to say
