I am not applying for a credit card to save 5% off my purchase
The last 3 or 4 times that I have been to Walgreen's, they are happy to inform me that I have been approved for a Walgreen's credit card.
Yep. A credit card with an APR of 29.99% (not an exaggeration) is exactly what I need.

Pick two or three charities to generously support and don’t feel guilty not giving to everything under the sun.

This and the tip/gratuity line on every receipt at food establishment drive through and pick up lines.
And it’s clear the places that have a tip line have trained or conditioned their workers to use face gestures and stares or hand gestures to make sure you see the tip line and try to subliminally play on your sympathetic side in order to get a 10%. 15%, 18% tip added just for handing you a bag of food that you had to overpay for to begin with.
“Here, just let me get your signature right here —>>>, right beneath the tip line”, thank you so much in advance….

I will give to Wendy’s fund for adoption, but that’s about it. I trust that one plus they give me Frosty coupons.

I purposely don't shop at walgreens or cvs because it's always awkward at checkout.
"Do you have a reward card?"
NO
"Would you like to apply with one it only takes a few seconds"
NO
"Well you should because bla bla bla"
NO THANKS, I'M GOOD
"Would you like to donate to bla bla bla?"
NAAAH, I'M GOOD, THANKS THOUGH
"Can I get your phone number?"
SURE, IT'S BLA BLA BLA
"Sorry, you are not in the system, do you have another phone number?"
NO, IT'S THE SAME frickING NUMBER I HAVE HAD FOR 10 YEARS"
Once finally past all that bullshite, then the fricking debit card machine asks 10 fricking questions
It's ridiculous so I just stopped going to either one because they both do this stupid shite. It makes the line a LOT longer than it needs to be because the people in front of me get asked the same bullshite

I have "donated" a few bucks here and there over the years to Wikipedia. I use it all the time and appreciate the no ads.
