George Noory has ruined the show.
I thought he did a great job at first then the show went downhill.

Total unlistenable garbage.
I agree and all you have to do is look at the ratings.
Sorry, I just now saw this post.

How can you not enjoy this show?

In the first half, actor and filmmaker Sean Stone shared his thoughts on the New World Order, the JFK assassination, and his upcoming documentary "Century of War." He noted how the expansion of the conspiracy movement seems to have coincided with the growth of the Internet, as more information has become readily available to people.
quote:
Regarding secret societies like the Bilderburgers, computer hacking and hidden camera recordings may be a way to expose their hidden agenda, and corruption, he suggested. "I don't know that 9-11 is ever going to be tackled and solved from a court perspective but if we could just...chip away at the deep state and its operational ability, how things are actually run...[and] the financial element is so key to this whole thing," he added.
quote:
His documentary, Century of War (airing on RT America starting November 15th) looks at the "financialization" of the US economy and how the banks have taken over, and strangled the system by putting people into a kind of "debt slavery." The film includes the work of author William Engdahl, who has cited how "petrodollar" warfare (oil and resource wars) have driven a lot of America's conflicts. The US continues to militarize in order to expand its reach of oil and other resources instead of putting money into peacetime industries, Stone remarked.
quote:
'Sound Off' Open Lines were featured in the latter half. Dana in Grand Rapids, Michigan spoke about immigration issues, suggesting that the problem in America would be greatly reduced if we went after businesses that employ illegals. John, also from Michigan, shared a hypothetical election prediction, that Jeb Bush could still be picked as president this year, if neither Clinton or Trump reaches enough Electoral College votes, and it was up to the House of Representatives to decide on the matter. Past C2C guest Stan Deyo called in to talk about some details he learned on trips to Dallas about the JFK assassination, including his conversations with a man who claimed to have a .45 caliber pistol that killed Kennedy.

I always preferred Noory's voice to Art Bell, but I don't listen enough to know the ins and outs. would listen more if they didn't charge for podcast downloads.

But he's too busy bitching about how Noory ruined his show while failing to admit that his ego and temper tantrum caused his Dark Matter show to collapse in record time.
I always thought Art hand picked Noory. I really miss the old C2C. But it sort of went down hill in the late 90's when he started cutting parts of the show out. Oh, Do has Heavens Gate perform a mass suicide? It must be because I'm talking about the UFO slipstreaming Hale-Bopp. No more UFO talk.
Oh David Koresh and Branch Davidians go wackedoo in Waco, McVeigh goes nuts and Ruby Ridge, it must be because I am talking about the shadow government so no more anti-gov talk.
There was nothing left to talk about on the show except ghosts, shadow people and animal mutilations in south america. It got boring. When art had people talking government conspiracies, UFO's, Area 51, Taos hum, it was awesome.
The final nail in the coffin for the show was when Art's kid got AIDS from his high school teacher and Art pretended to have to go in hiding from the black helicopters. After that he gave up.
I tried to listen to his subscription show and it was better than Noory but you're correct, the magic was gone. I used to catch him a few years ago on 10 and 20 meters when I had my HF rig set up and he was pretty cool on ham radio rag chewing.
I wish he was back in the Kingdom of Nye broadcasting in full force. So much better and much more entertaining than Alex Jones.
I guess now he's just content living like a king of his millions in the Phillipines with his 20 year old mail order bride getting free happy endings for the rest of his life.

It's not the topics on Noory's show (well sometimes it is). It's Noory the man. He's just not an engaging host. Actually, he seems incredibly stupid or gullible compared to Art Bell. Art walked the fine line of belief, skepticism, conspiracist, and first and foremost entertainer. He knew how to entertain the audience. Even if you believed Art wasn't buying the bullshite, he made you at least believe it was possible.
Noory cannot accomplish that. He just acts like a buffoon and asks buffoonish questions to his guests.
He's just awful.

His wife Ramona passed away in January. Art had a long radio show explaining the details of her death, which seemed very odd. Then suddenly this weekend he announced that he married a 21 yr old in the Phillipines in March. Says he had been Internet chatting with her for months. Says she mailed him after a friend sent her his contact info. Some mourning! So now he's leaving the US and moving there with her. Does this seem a little strange and odd and suspicious to anyone else.

I've noticed that he believes whatever his callers are saying. The caller could say something outlandish and he would take it like it was the truth.

Sometimes, I think he is reading from cue cards.

What makes it worse is when Noory is featured in Ancient Aliens (History Channel). He's just so unbelievable that I literally cringe and roll my eyes when he gives an opinion regarding ancient aliens. He's just milking his fame...

don't forget beyond belief...

I can't listen to it. Art would actually ask real questions or not be taken for a dupe. George instead says oh wow and Sucks on the guest. For example, one Dr. Richard C. Hoagland.

you live in Jonesboro? When will y'all legalize alcohol sales?

John B Wells is the shite. He refused to tow the Clear Channel/Premiere company line, got better ratings, and got run off for it. Check out Caravan to Midnight.

John B. Wells’ numbers were anywhere between 750,000 to 1.2 million listeners for any given Saturday night. This ratings disparity could not have resonated well with George Noory who is not known for being humble.
