Bardot's looks were way ahead of its time... She looks like she could be a Super Model from the 80’s…

Pinky Lee was a TV kiddie show host in the '50s. Pee Wee Herman would base his shtick on Lee.
At first I suspected this was a modern Cris Shapan-style photoshop hoax, but apparently it was a real board game (1954)

There were black Marine Corps corporals with knotted gold wrist bracelets in 1942?

Looks more like 1962 or maybe even 1972 than 1942 to me.

My original source gave a date of 1942 but several websites say it is from 1948

I can buy late ‘40s, early ‘50s. A very good picture, possibly staged. Different dress uniforms. Marine Corps wasn’t even partially integrated until late 1942 and it’s real doubtful someone who looked like that and who was a corporal would have been photographed in 1942. It seems the photo was taken at Union Station in D.C. Thanks for posting it.

There are a few things that make me suspicious of this photo.
-the chain bracelet
-the big ring
-and what appears to be sun glasses
- Marines do not travel in dress blues and should be wearing his A's
-does not look like a USMC issued coat
