old shot of Fort Bliss, shot of El Paso, and some of one of the most interesting high school and football stadium that I have ever seen. They still use the school today.

It is a cool looking stadium. Looks like they've updated it to field turf since I lived there back in the 90's. Used to be sort of brown, sort of green grass back then. Looks much better now. Also, I always loved the view of downtown El Paso you see when sitting in the stands.

I see at least four old-school Monogram model kits.

B24 Liberator
PBY Catalina
Unknown tri-motor (possible Fokker or Ford)
Ford Tri-Motor

Elizabeth Taylor just went from an OT 9 to OT 9.5.

"The Gates of Hell" in Turkmenistan is a 230 feet wide hole that's been burning since 1971 after a Soviet drilling accident.

nothing wrong w/military pics, as long as they (or any other subject, including babes) don't overwhelm the thread

More military photos. These from 1971. Uncle Kenny in Vietnam with 196th Infantry Brigade. My cousin scanned these and sent them to me a couple years ago so I could restore the contrast and color to them. They were getting pretty faded after fifty years.
