Do buffalo still stand and protect after being shot dead?

They’re still big as hell when they lie on the ground too

You have to take the rats. 10000 rats would get to you quick. Rats will have a tough time with crocs, but crocs get beaten by gorillas, bears, buffaloes.

Hawks are more trouble than the hunter honestly. You can avoid the hunter and probably the crocs for a short time. Hawks, you need something batting them out of the air.

Buffaloes can trample everything but the hawks, but just aren't that maneuverable otherwise.

I'd still consider them. It's rats and either gorillas, buffaloes or bears.

In this scenario, are the other seven animal groups on the same team? Is it you and your two animal groups versus the other seven or would your attackers also fight each other, potentially killing each other off before they reach you and your animal defenders?

I haven’t seen specs on the arena to make an educated guess. One of my other questions is regarding the hunter and the buffaloes. If you say the buffaloes will block the hunter from my demise, that must mean neither of them can/will move?
Sure seems like the chaos all of the rats would generate would be enough to hold everything else at bay for an hour.
