My cat would kill me, sniff me a few times, turn his nose up and walk away. Not because I stink, but because he’s just a shithead like that.

Then he’d come back and eat me later when no one was watching.
I think we have the same cat.

Not cows. Carnivorous animals probably would if there was nothing else.

At least one of my cats would eat me. I'm OK with it. Think of it this way: what does a cat love and how does it show affection to that? I think if cats could talk they would all be saying how much they love birds and rodents. Which they then eat because they love them so much. My cat loves her feather toys so much that she eats the feathers. She loves me so much that sometimes I get woken up with love bites to the chin. Her sister is different, she loves everything with her paws. Gently touches her favorite things with paw pats and caresses, no claws. I don't think they would all eat me but some of them would. Mostly cats chew on lips, nose and fingers if their owner dies. Like I said, I'm OK with it. I'll already be dead. I notified my family that under no circumstances will the cats be put down, even if they gnaw on my corpse.

Yes, if they are hungry enough.

ETA: Probably not the cows, but certainly cats and dogs. If we're talking hogs, well......they would eat your bones, too.

Cows were fed bone meal, that's how mad cow disease was spread in the U.K. Most animals would probably eat people if they were hungry enough. Heck, even people will sometimes eat people when they are faced with starvation.

Some years ago in my small town a resident noticed Vultures flying over and landing on the roof of a home across the street. Realized he had not seen the recluse that lived there for several weeks. He walked across the street and within several feet of the front porch the stench hit him. He reported it to the sheriff's office and I was driving by as the deputy's are running out of the house gagging and vomiting. Seems the old boy had passed weeks previously and they recovered his partially consumed body along with 2 dogs that had expired in the middle of summer. They eventually tore down the house and burned everything that would burn and hauled off what wouldn't burn. Then spread lime across the lot.

I’ve ate enough cat in my lifetime that I’d probably be OK if I ended up as cat food.
