Yes, you can see them now, it just peaks after midnight, and "Peak" doesn't always mean its significantly better.

I just walked outside and didn't see anything. Just stars.

Do any of you remember a middle aged chubby man who would come on tv and talk about what stars or planets or night sky events would be coming up soon? I can't remember if it was part of a news show or if it came on as a commercial...

His name was Jack Horkheimer. He died in 2010. Loved that show.
