Had a friend once, now deceased, that would come to my house on Friday afternoons to partake in a few cocktails and games of darts since we played on the same team.

He'd do his best to distract me by whistling-----WAY off key, drop his darts when I was in my throwing motion, make his shoe soles squeak by scuffing them across the floor, etc.

I told him that all his attempts to distract me only made me concentrate more so I could beat his arse every game. He got the message and quit------still didn't help his game though.

When I worked at a power plant we had some engineer show up for a couple of days who would constantly whistle that "Paint Me a Birmingham" song.

Definitely motivated us to wrap up whatever the frick we were trying to accomplish at the time and send that boy's happy arse back home.

I used to piss my wife off whistling. Even out in the yard.
