I will be at my company 20 years in April. My coworkers are like a second family. I am dearly loved and highly respected there.

There is no loyalty in business and that is a pretty stupid mentality. A Corporation will lay your arse off in a heartbeat without warning so do what is best for you.
I knew he’d be compromised when he returned going in but it was a reward for his loyalty and performance. He got back to about 70% of his former performance level and gave us 3 OK years on the back end.
So, amending your statement, some corporations have no loyalty.

I've been working at the current company for 14+ years for insurance and the generous PTO policy. Now, my goals have changed since I started. I'm working for early semi-retirement. Wife works for a good company and we've started things years ago to get to this point. Just one more hurdle to get over.
