We live in the most self-absorbed times in history. Everything is about "being happy." Been married for 10 or 20 years but youre unhappy? Just get a divorce and start over. Life is short! The ease with which people toss aside other people for their own happiness these days is very sad. On the one hand, I think the people who choose not to have kids are inherently some of the most selfish people. But, on the other, maybe it's good that they at least realize it instead of making someone else miserable for their happiness.
