As soon as people force the issue regarding programs like the F-35, then maybe these other things can be tackled. The F-35 will be over a 2 trillion dollar program. It's already behind schedule, it's not looking to be up to spec, and it's rumored to be highly vulnerable to existing technologies. We could likely cut that 70% or more by using existing platforms with suitable upgrades.

The price to run our military is not that large. It's programs like the F-35 and other acquisitions and contracting that kill our military budget.

At least they work for those benefits. I'm more concerned with the people abusing Medicaid and unemployment pay.
