I have found lots of good stuff people have thrown away. Found an IKEA Poang chair that was perfectly good....just bought a new cushion. Found an IKEA chest o' draws that just needed a draw re-glued. I put all my workout gear in it now. My neighbor has found bicycles in excellent condition....he just found a propane patio heater that was slightly dented but otherwise works great.

I put all of my old light fixtures and the boxes for the new ones out on the curb.
In the middle of the night all of the old fixtures were gone....and they stacked the boxes back up nice when they were done. I thought well that was nice of them

Threw away a 50 inch tube TV few years ago. Came home at night to find an entire family trying to lift it and stuff it in their trunk. They didn't succeed as it was still there 30 min later

Cooler blew out the back of my truck. Soon as I turned around to pick it back up a few Mexicans had thrown it in their trunk and drove off.
