What gets me more, is the people who have the little bags and pick up the poop, but then toss the bags of poop on the ground. Which is actually WORSE than not picking it up!!

Nope, that's on the bottom of settings I would live in.
1. House in country on 5 or more acres.
2. House in acreage subdivision with 1-5 acres lots.
3. House in neighborhood with small yard.
4. House in neighborhood with basically no yard.
5. Anywhere in a trailer.
Back to original post, if you live in a neighborhood and have a dog, you should pick up their poop.

My dog will not poop on a leash. He's trained well and never really leaves my side so we don't leash him very much unless around strangers.
If he's leashed, he'll paw at my leg to tell me he needs to shite so we go somewhere I can unhook him and he can hide while he shits.

It's a finite amount of space with an artificially high amount of dogs. It gets unsanitary real fast because nature can't take its course to decompose a little over here and there. Throw 10 people that can't aim or wipe into one restroom. Do you really want to use that at the end of the day?
Don't be an arse by the bags that'll breakdown and enjoy the park responsibly with others. It's man-made as that restroom.
