They are doing that for a valid reason. Cars are fine sitting in a traffic jam idiling because they're liquid cooled. Most motorcycles are air cooled and if you sit and idle for too long you'll overheat your engine
This is what I originally called you out on, you are full of shite. Post something worthy that supports those statements, a link, something, anything.

Go frick yourself you stupid frick. I support my statement with over 30 years and hundreds of thousands of miles experience on two wheels. If you want a link, take your stupid arse to Google and look yourself.
Anyone that knows shite about motorcycles knows that if you're on an air cooled bike, sitting at idle in a traffic jam like your in a car is a perfect way to ruin an engine. Once traffic comes to a standstill, the clock starts ticking and you had better either find a way out of the jam or pull over and shut it off until things clear.

Once again, you're the smartassed frick who came in here saying I was full of shite when the truth of the matter is you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground. Go frick yourself.

You guys are both pussies. And FYI that one guy said something about over heating during traffic jams, then the other guy replied saying basically the same thing.

No you're the dumbass once again. People generally aren't riding their race spec Ducati's in heavy traffic overheating. It's motorcycle tough guys thinking they are above the common motorist.

lol at this stupid shite stain. "racing spec Ducati"?!? You honestly think only a racing bike will overheat if you sit in traffic at an idle too long?? Are you really this fricking stupid? I'll give you the same advice I gave the other dumbass... Before you come in here running your dick sucker trying to be a smartass, do a little research so you don't just end up showing everyone just how much of a dumbass you really are.

So tell me you stupid fricking cumbubble, how many times have you actually had your bike overheat in traffic so much that you had to do whatever it takes to get out of it like you stated? I've had a 1998 FXR for 10+ years and I've been in many traffic jams in BR, never once had an issue. Try to keep in mind that I called you out for your justifying splitting traffic, you're obviously on a elementary level though so please think long and hard to try & come up with an intelligent reply.

I'm straight up calling you a lying piece of dog shite. No Harely rider is ignorant of the fact you only have a limited amount of time to sit and idle before you risk engine damage due to overheating.
As for how long it takes, there are variables. First, how hot was your engine when traffic stopped, how hot of a day is it? Are you running regular oil or synthetic oil? Does the bike have an oil cooler or not?
Finally, an experienced rider knows to be looking for his oil light and listening to the sound of his engine to let him know it's getting too hot. But even with all that, I'd never let it go in a traffic jam where I'm at idle for more than 10 minutes or so. And that includes traffic that's barely crawling.
If you really were a rider, I'd not have to tell you any of this. But your dumbass didn't know any of it. Thus, not only are you an ignorant, stupiid frick. You're also a worthless, shite stain liar on top of all that as well.

Tens of thousands of motorcycles are sold every single day, and have been for the past few decades without ANYONE making a major announcement about this problem you seem to have made up in your head. OK....
