Probably. There are a lot of hot chicks at Pure Barre. I'm not signing up for that either.

My girl is about to buy Peloton. I could ride that thing in the privacy of my home with no problem. A class at a gym though? I'm out.

I think anyone who would pay someone to tell them how to peddle a bike is a dumbass. But I grew up in a generation where we actually rode bikes outside and didn't pay for bottled water.

It's a fun workout that burns calories. Are you really worried about getting called gay by fat rednecks?

She is super nice in her classes. Very motivating as well.

She can see all the people that are logged in currently taking her class. She will acknowledge them by their screenname and give them praise (Ex: "Hey there spinlady, good job on 100 classes!")

You almost make me want to buy a peloton bike, but the cost of it is 2k plus taxes and setup plus monthly subscription is about 3k. North park center in Dallas has a store where you can actually test the bike and join in on a class. I'm debating buying the peloton bike vs continuing soulcycle classes or possibly just doing both.

You're just ignorant. It isn't just "peddle fast or peddle slow".

There are multiple types workouts in a spin class. Some are hill workouts, some are flats, some are sprints, some are intervals. Some use high resistance, some use low resistance, some vary the resistance. Different workouts produce different results.

A good spin instructor will lead you through the workout so that you get the most out of it.
