I am losing weight. lost 5 lbs in 4 days. my calorie intake had to have been 3500+ and now I am staying around 2000 per day.
I assumed that unhealthy calories were just as good as healthy calories as long as I stayed under 2000. -if that makes sense.

Not true. Calories in calories out is only part of the equation. Your body uses calories differently based on what kind they are, when they were eaten and what they're needed for. This is regulated by a pretty intricate system of hormones in your body, but the two biggest are insulin and glucagon.
To oversimplify it, healthy calories keep your insulin levels in check which leads to lest storing of fat. And it keeps your glucagon levels up that helps you utilize fat burning more.

Damn. I guess I will start doing the P90X3 nutrition plan.
The last thing I want is to go through 90 days of this torture and not get results!!!
I need a hypnotist to trick me into liking healthier foods.

I think the reason i am naturally thin is i don't eat a lot of calories. I know when i was heavy on watching my caloric intake, and when i started p90x1, i actually had to force myself to get to 2400 calories/day. I think i average about 2000-2200 daily. Probably because i rarely eat breakfast. Usually i'll eat a banana or a protein bar for breakfast, that's it.

I have a pasta maker thing that turns my Zucchini into noodles. I love that thing. It's so delicious.

RammJamm, you sound like the ideal person to get the most out of these programs. If you have the weight to lose, and you hit these workouts hard and eat sensibly, the weight will be melting off by Week 3.
My week 2 "Challenge" starts in 3 hours. Bring it, Tony, you little whore!!

X3 sounds awesome, but I don't want a yoga workout that's only 30 minutes long. If I get it, I will put my X2 yoga on that day.
I'm so pumped. I want to do X3.

Good luck. The beginning is rough, but once your start seeing results, you'll want to work out. Your potential becomes your motivation. It's pretty awesome.
I'm down to a size 33 waist now. I love it. Just a little bit further to go.

My wife wanted to do this... I got P90x3 instead.. wasn't sure about it

my gf wanted T25 and asked me to do it with her. Not at the same time just do it for support and motivation. I didnt want to do it because I thought it was dumb but actually is way better than expected

I'm sure T25 is legit. I'd rather do it than Insanity. Insanity looks like it would kill me.

Had a buddy that was not in horrible shape at all and threw up during the fitness test of insanity
I passed on that shite. I always would do a few weeks or month of p90x and would always get busy and get out of it. I like the 25 min thing. can always find 25 mins.

Gotcha.. I may order it for her if she doesn't like x3

Yeah, T25 and X3 really are putting excuses to rest. If you don't have time for that, then you're saying you don't want to work out.

Just finished it. Started X3 this week.
T25 will definitely work ya. Lots of HIIT, sweat, and squats. Don't plan on climbing any stairs the first week.
My wife is doing it now.

My "before"pic is several years old. I'm hooked on this stuff.

But I'll show you what 3 rounds of P90X and clean eating will do for you.

Color me impressed for someone having stones enough to post.. Congrats sir..
And when you say clean eating... Did you follow the diet P90x provided or did you do something else?

My wife does T25. When she first got it I did the workouts with her just to check it out. The workouts are good. It's a legit program. Insanity light.
