Negative. Brogue is inherently less dressy.

You are incorrect, but that's okay. Just trying to help out the world of menswear

damn. Too serious for someone that age, in my opinion.

Your brogues are big time casual.... But, you´re correct if the person you´re replying to thinks weejuns are dressier.

Thanks, but you may want to look up some history on footwear then. I appreciate the fashion advice from someone in DC though. When I want some input on pleated pants and 90s type shoulder padding in suits, I'll know who to ask.

Just read the part about him still growing, but I wear these with my navy suit and we all know I get all the bitches.

ok I'm done arguing, who is your senator: Perdue or Isakson? I will let him know his constituent thinks he is being to casual at the US Capitol.

Yep. That's why I wanted your input

I like those. I just can't see spending $200 on kids shoes that they will only wear a few times

No one said that. I wear brogues with suits quite often, and I work in a biglaw firm in NYC. They're perfectly acceptable.

Yeah, I understand that, but those are pretty sharp for when he stops growing.

I´ve got no clue.

If they´re wearing brogues, I´m sure theirs are not the style, raw material nor shape, that yours are in.

Black with navy only if you're in the Air Force.

No you're the one who thinks because brogue were originally created for outdoor wear that means they are inherently less formal today. Which I can promise you is an incorrect assessment of today's formality in menswear (surprising coming from a person who lives in NYC).

Today is a much different story in menswear, and when it comes to brown oxfords and derbies brogue is formal.

In the early 2000´s, there was this trend from the 30 and under crowd to purposefully change the basic color combos (to brown for navy, black for grey), and the shite has stuck.......

I don't think you have ever had nice leather shoes before, sorry m8.

Though I will admit they need a nice cleaning, the style and raw material of my cordovan leather Allen Edmonds are in very good shape considering they are 3 years old and have had the heel resoled once.

Judging by your photo, this is an amusing comment.
