I may have seen 1 fight in tiger stadium in the last 15 years, and that was in the SS

Same here. The 80's were a different story. Fans would stop watching the game to watch a fight in the stands and it happened quite often compared to today.

My dad, shortly after having surgery to remove cancer, did put an LSU fan on Poydras into a headlock until the cops came after he drunkenly threw a punch at an ND fan

But nothing inside the stadium

I've seen a few more than that, call them altercations, because they usually get quelled before fists start flying. But not as many as back in the day. Say what you want about higher ticket prices, but they do keep some of the riff raff out. And security is much more proactive. Drunks and trashtalkers get bounced before they have a chance to start shite.
