It would be cool to say you owned a ferrari, but that damn vette is cool.

Name one car that will perform better than that Z06 for the money.

stock or aftermarket? My evo 9 MR destroys Z06's on the track and usually comes out on top at the strip. That doesn't necessarily count though

fwiw..when I get rid of the evo, I'll be getting a Z06.

Z06. Sure the Fezza is cheap but you're still paying Ferrari price is something goes wrong/breaks.

I'd rather pay a bit more and get a 360.... Nah. I'll take a 911

I agree. I Think the 80's and 90's cars are not old enough. I am a BMW m fan but I really like and appreciate the old corvettes. The 90's Ferrari's are horrible to work on for even the simple tasks. I would never get one for the maintenance unless it is purely for show. Then in that case get a convertible or something with more character. If those are my two choices, while the Ferrari has more of a cool factor I would go with the driveability of the Vette. Plus if someone wrecks your ferrari you don't have to kill them.

Me too. I would take any Vette from 1955-1973 over Ferrari or any other spaghetti car.

Ok, no way a 2009 Z06 is 73k

looking at a 2009 zo6 with 17k mi in nearly perfect condition for 43,000 on the manheim auctions

and a 2007 z06 for 30k

Not a fan of the 68's but if the right one came along and my wife wouldn't shoot me...

The 68 was the first of the C3 group. They had headlight actuator problems & tail light problems.
The steering wheel was 1"larger as many with BB didn't come with PS or A/C.
The 69 and later resolved those issues plus stiffened up the chassis for better handling and ride.
