Yes, I've purchased several cars with salvage titles, never had finance or insurance issues.

Insurance might be tricky and costly too. Check that beforehand.

As i stated earlier,yes it is some work because the title has to be converted to a rebuilt title to have the vehicle registered. DMV will not issue a registration for a salvage titled vehicle.
