You know what's gonna sink this place even faster than BR's inability to support it? Delgado's political ambition.
Douche wants to succeed Kip as mayor so bad he can taste it. And while he may try to tout this club and other establishments as examples of "downtown development", this town is still ruled, by and large, by the Baptists. And the Baptist ministers in this town are gonna crucify him. He'll have no choice but to disassociate himself from these enterprises. And without the cover he provides, this place will sink like a rock.
Delgado either got some bad political advice on this one or is looking to cash in fast before cashing out. My money is on the latter.

Nah, but I have seen him beat the shite out of countless people back in the day. Don't recall him ever backing down or losing. That being said, he is a pretty cool and down to earth dude that I have known for 20+ years.

This place is filled with those who peaked (if at all) too early in life. Now, they spend their time and little paychecks in places like this looking for attention from their peers. It's quite comical and sad at the same time.

Yeah I'm not sure where his base is going to come from. He's not going to beat out the Democrats in BR proper and he's a vocal critic (to put it mildly) of the St. George effort of the unincorporated areas.

That's just it. He was never going to get the St. George vote. And all this freakshow that he's part owner of does is give the Baptist preachers in this town something to beat him up over. It's a loser for him, which is why he'll get out from under it.

You're the jackass making an asinine assertion about a religious denomination running the capital city of Louisiana. Get your facts straight before posting such preposterous garbage.

And you're the silly frick who wants a link to something that everyone who's lived in this town for any length of time already knows to be true. That's obtuse.

Hey Ben, how you doing? We had some fun back in the day. Use to run 1200 people a night thru Triple A and later Element.
Hey Mike! We sure did. I had lots of fun at Triple A and Element, when people actually used to dance!
I'm doing well. I hope you had a good Christmas.
When are you opening a new club in BR? :)
Hey Paul Allen! How's it going man??!!

This is the truth. People don't dance much anymore, to dance music nonetheless. The club scene has changed since those Triple A and Element days. I went see Kaskade at XS in Vegas a couple of months ago. All the millennials gathered around the DJ both and just watched him play, like people do at a concert.

Whoever said the girls in those pics look soulless was spot on. Some of those females look like they don't have a single thought in their heads.

Lotta roid rage in that pic.
I swear, the more I see of it, the more this place looks like a well-thrown Molotov Cocktail or five at around midnight on a Friday night would be a vast improvement.

You must be talking about volume of voter base. Not specific people right?
