So I’m sure y’all gonna say I’m dying and that’s cool. But about 2 years ago was diagnosed with RA. Been on methotrexate for about a year and I feel great. Minor aches and pains in fingers. Well this weekend I decided to go full throttle in a B-Ball game. Come next day I could barely walk. Can’t shake the pain in my knees. Front and back of them. Been taking ibuprofen but no difference. Is this gonna go away in time or did I permanently frick these limbs up.

If I knew meth would stop the pain I may try.

Probably go away in a few days. Instead of aches and pains, you have a full on way going on with your joints vs immune system. Ice and ibuprofen with some rest.

You can feel ok, but joint erosion could still be happening with just methotrexate.

It'll go away with the right treatment. Doctor would probably put you on some steroids(prednisone?). I would seek treatment with your Rheumatologist. Methotrexate didn't help me much, saw much improvement with Humira the 1st bout with RA. 2nd time around started Humira again and it barely helped my numbers go down. I tried Cimzia and it definitely worked. I only take Prednisone when I'm really feeling horrible.
