Report gets posted to the portal as soon as it's available regardless. Plenty of people find out bad news this way and then have to wait days for their follow up

I think it’s a transparency law. Was reading a news article recently about how it’s forcing bad news to come somewhat shockingly rather than straight from your doctor.

This is not always the case. Depends on the portal, system settings, type of report, and results.

No, labs were normal last year. Next physical is in a few weeks.
Had a hard mass inside my mouth by my tonsil. Had a CT after it didn’t go away for a few months. CT showed it as an elongated styloid process. Also picked up the minor lymph enlargement (called it borderline) and also the thyroid nodule. Did follow up ultra sound a few months later to check both out.
