OT Doctors, can Hydroxychloroquine be used on flu patients too?

Based on the title you seem to already be assuming it can treat covid. Wait on the results of the trial before declaring that. Its easier than you think to be fooled

This is absolutely true, in an n=2 trial in Arizona: not one, but BOTH participants in the ad hoc trial were no longer listed the flu as their primary concern.

This is a category of drug which has been around for decades. Based on what is known about the mechanism of action it will probably help break a fever but is unlikely to affect the flu or coronavirus directly.
Like pretty much every other drug there are risks of toxicity. People with a range of other risks or risk factors are putting themselves at more risk - especially because most American doctors don't use anti-malarial drugs often and don't thoroughly understand the associated risks.
