OT Cheap Airfare of the Week: Nola- Chicago $87, Orlando $172, Boston $194

Happy november everyone. For those of you needing to get away, there's some decent deals around. Also if you haven't booked christmas or new years tickets to head home for the holidays, now is the time to look. Been seeing some okay fares for flights to denver over mardi gras as well. Any requests let me know

New Orleans to:


Chicago: $87 on American, United, or Southwest. Southwest has the best availability for this. First week of December, then after new years through february

Orlando: $172 on Delta or United, first two weeks of December then most of january and the last week of february. Southwest at $266

Boston: $198 on United or American. First week of December, most of january and random dates in february

New York City: $201 on Delta, $213 on United. First two weeks of December, all of january, first week of february

Miami: $149 on American. Mostly departures on wednesdays in january or february

Charlotte: $182
on Delta or United. First two weeks of December, all of january, february, march

Tampa: $164 on United or American, $250 on Southwest. Most of january, tuesdays and wednesdays in february

Salt Lake City: $254 on United. Random dates in january, lots of Fridays-Mondays

Denver: $208 on Southwest, $215 on United. Most of january and february, southwest has good availability over mardi gras (example thursday feb 4 to mon night feb 8 $216 on southwest).


Baton Rouge to:

Atlanta: $161 on American or United. First two weeks of december, most of january, Tuesdays and wednesdays in february or march

Charlotte: $182
on Delta. First two weeks of december, all of january, february or march

Denver: $264
on American or United. First two weeks of december, all of january, random dates in february including mardi gras (friday- tuesday)

Ready for ski season, bring on the snow!

Just out of curiosity, do you work for an airline or do this as a hobby?

You always have great updates on travel information

P.S. My family and I had a great time in Syracuse, thanks for all of the recs.

I do this as a hobby, I love traveling so it makes it easy to try and help people save some money. Glad you enjoyed Syracuse, was a great time of the year to head up there and hopefully everyone was friendly

$234 on United, $236 on Southwest, $244 on Delta. I wouldn't say the prices are great especially after southwest had a MSY-BNA sale a few weeks ago for I think it was around $100.

Everything I post is for a roundtrip ticket. On occasion it is cheaper to book two one-ways (example: head to denver on southwest, return on united) but it really depends on origin/destination and specific dates
