Ours is the same way. A crew comes every two week, does a deep cleaning and it takes about 4 hours. We pay $150 but I live in DC so that’s probably why it’s more here for roughly the same size of house, 2 stories.

I'm in NE AL. I didnt think about the demand thing. I think we just got really lucky because we did go through 2 maids before her who were more expensive and were horrible at their jobs. We also have friends who are paying nearly double us and closer to what I've seen in this thread.

We were just lucky with this one I guess. She is about 60 yrs old and just does maybe 4 or 5 houses a week for something to do. Her husband died about 10 years ago and left her a nice chunk. So I guess shes doing it to fight off boredom. Whatever it is I thank her because she is cheap and does an amazing job.
