Shocking since the tariffs are working like a charm to squeeze smaller and independent retailers that can't outlast the spiking costs of almost everything business related and increase market share for the big dogs like Walmart and Amazon.

Indeed. They hurt small to medium sized business and protect BigCorp.

Their hunting gear is quality, clothes too. They do a great job rewaxing Barbour coats as well.

It ain't about tariffs. That may be what they said. But that’s just an excuse. Not a big market share, too much overhead, thin profit margin, can’t compete in today’s environment, poor online presence, outdated styles and brands, bad locations, TOO dependent on one region and supplier, bad strategic plan, not nimble enough as a company…

All those are better reasons and probably more accurate.

All of these type retailers have lost their minds

Orvis' DEI marketing has derailed them. I guess i get trying to expand your customer base, but theirs is just bizarre. They charge a premium for cheap chinese made clothes.

REI stores were the ultimate Mask and Vax gestapo during the scamdemic

Patagonia was overtly political in the 2020 season slapping ads for Dems along with their name. I was getting them even on TD.com. Dillon, Montana, their birthplace, is an old school western town. They have definitely turned their backs on their roots.

This is the reckoning....
