Love the story about the crips and bloods trying to spread to New Orleans. In every other city they would roll in, recruit local members and set up shop using fear, intimidation and reputation.

When they tried that in New Orleans, it didn't exactly go according to plan. As one gang squad detective put it: Every time they tried to come in, The locals just killed them. Eventually they got the message and left New Orleans alone.
